The GSSoC program functions because of volunteers. Your commitment powers the community.

Contents
Volunteers support the operational backbone of GSSoC 2026. Your assigned area will be one or more of: community management, content creation, design, technical support, social media coordination, event support, or internal operations. You will receive a detailed brief from the GSSoC coordination team within 48 hours of acceptance.
Volunteer roles are specific and scoped. You are accountable for the deliverables in your brief, not for the entire program. If your scope is unclear, ask for clarification immediately rather than assuming.
Honour Your Hours
You stated your weekly availability in your application. Consistent absence without prior notice will result in removal from the program and may affect your standing in future GSSoC editions.
Professional Representation
As a volunteer, you represent GirlScript Foundation and Smartly Ventures in every public interaction — on social media, in Discord channels, at campus events, and in direct communication with applicants and contributors. Maintain a professional, accurate, and respectful tone at all times.
No Conflicts of Interest
Do not use your volunteer access, data, or position to benefit yourself, your projects, your organisation, or any third party. All program resources and internal access are strictly for GSSoC operational purposes.
No Unauthorised Commitments
Do not make commitments on behalf of GirlScript Foundation, Smartly Ventures, or the GSSoC program — including acceptance promises, prize guarantees, or partnership agreements — without explicit written authorisation from programme leadership.
Volunteers may have access to applicant data, internal communications, unreleased program plans, and financial information. You must not share any of this externally — including with friends, other applicants, or on public platforms — without explicit written permission from the GSSoC team.
Confidentiality obligations continue after your volunteer tenure ends. Data accessed during the program must not be retained, shared, or referenced publicly in any form.
Violation of confidentiality is grounds for immediate removal from the program and may result in legal action under applicable data protection laws.
